Busy Bees Class
2 to 3 year Age group
In this class we engage learners in creative activities that involve physical effort like dancing and jumping up and down.
Rhymes and songs that are action oriented to foster language development
- Alphabet songs, number songs and shape songs to aid phonemic and numerical awareness
- Sensory play activities that involve touching and kneading eg the sand, finger painting, play dough for the development of sensory awareness and fine motor skills development.
- Stacking leegos or blocks, sorting shapes
– Pretend play using stuffed toys, dolls, miniature motor cars . This fosters creativity and understanding of the world around them.
Simple puzzle games help them develop problem solving skills as well eye- hand coordination
– Outdoor games that involve running, climbing, sliding etc for pure enjoyment and development of gross motor skills
